Protective topcoat and adhesion booster in one – for a professional-quality finish!

Hobbynox Intercoat-Clear 2-in-1 is a water-based polyurethane clear coat that can be used in two ways: either as a protective topcoat over Hobbynox Airbrush Colors, or mixed directly into the paint (approx. 10%) to improve spray performance, durability, and adhesion to hard surfaces – giving urethane-like results for automotive-style applications.

Key Benefits:

• Protective layer – dries to a hard, flat, and smooth finish (non-gloss)
• When mixed with paint – improves flow and increases scratch and fuel resistance
• Fuel-resistant – ideal for RC car bodies and other exposed surfaces
• Enhances adhesion – allows painting on hard surfaces with better grip
• Masking tape safe – prevents paint from peeling off when masking tape is removed
• Can be used as a carrier for glitter or flake (e.g. Fasglitter)

How to Use:

• As a protective clear coat: Spray over dried Hobbynox Airbrush Colors to seal and protect
• Mixed into paint: Add approx. 10% Intercoat-Clear for better spray characteristics and adhesion
• Use mixed paint within 6 hours
• Store airtight after use
• Clean tools with Hobbynox SP Reducer/Cleaner

Note: This product is not a reducer or thinner – for adjusting paint viscosity, use Hobbynox SP Reducer/Cleaner (sold separately).

Hobbynox Intercoat-Clear 2-in-1 is also compatible with many airbrush paints from Createx and Parma Faskolor.
