Tamiya is proud to present a classic model kit based on the Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II of Team Zakspeed, sponsored by Diebels Alt. Originally available as a body kit only (product code 50465), it has now been re-released as a complete version.

This outstanding racing car entered the 1992 DTM season with the number 18 and was driven by former Danish speedster Kurt Thiim, who finished the season in an impressive second place in the drivers' standings.

Tamiya TT-01 Type-E – Advanced 4WD Chassis

The TT-01 Type-E chassis is based on an advanced shaft-driven 4WD system, with the engine and battery positioned low for optimal center of gravity and balance. The tub frame construction features a fiberglass-reinforced nylon upper deck and transmission covers for increased rigidity and durability.

A three-piece steering rack provides precise and smooth steering, while the four-wheel double wishbone suspension and front and rear differentials provide a stable and balanced driving experience. The TT-01 Type-E chassis is a great base for both the beginner and experienced modeler, and can be further enhanced with a variety of Hop-Up Options.
