Unlike aggressive pin-style tyres, the Sahara is designed for hard-packed, smooth racing surfaces where its large contact patch provides maximum grip. It performs exceptionally well on indoor clay tracks, well-grooved outdoor circuits and high-grip Astroturf tracks.

The tyres are professionally factory mounted and glued to the wheels, and include high-density competition inserts that provide consistent support and stable handling throughout every run.

Hot Race SAHARA – Soft Compound

The most versatile compound. Suitable for most racing conditions from spring through autumn, offering an excellent balance of grip and durability. Recommended for track temperatures of approximately 20–29 °C.

Available Compounds

• Super Soft: Maximum grip with rapid warm-up in cool conditions. Ideal for cold weather and low to medium grip tracks. Wears faster in high temperatures. Recommended for track temperatures of approximately 10–19 °C.
• Soft: The most versatile compound. Suitable for most racing conditions from spring through autumn, offering an excellent balance of grip and durability. Recommended for track temperatures of approximately 20–29 °C.
• Medium: The best choice for hot days and high-grip tracks. Provides consistent performance during long finals while offering excellent wear resistance. Recommended for track temperatures of approximately 30–35 °C.
• Hard: The most durable compound for hot conditions and highly abrasive tracks. Ideal where softer compounds wear too quickly. Recommended for track temperatures above 36 °C.
• Clay: Developed specifically for high-grip clay tracks. Delivers maximum traction on smooth, well-grooved surfaces and performs exceptionally well on Blue Groove tracks. Tyre additive is often used to achieve the best performance.
• White: An ultra-soft compound designed for cold and damp conditions. Ideal for cool indoor tracks, wet surfaces and situations where maximum grip is more important than tyre life. Typically performs well without tyre additive.
• Clay Hard: A firmer version of the Clay compound, designed for very high-grip clay tracks in warm conditions. Maintains excellent handling while offering significantly longer wear than the standard Clay compound.
• Rain: A dedicated wet-weather compound for rainy and extremely slippery conditions. Its ultra-soft rubber compound helps maximise traction on wet clay and muddy tracks.
