The Hobbywing QuicRun WP 16BL30 G2 is a compact, next-generation brushless electronic speed controller that combines reliable performance, easy setup, and excellent efficiency for smaller RC vehicles. Its fully waterproof design allows you to drive confidently in dry, wet, muddy, or dusty conditions without compromising reliability.

With a 30A continuous current and 100A peak current rating, the ESC provides plenty of power for most 1/16 and 1/18 scale brushless vehicles. It supports both 2S and 3S LiPo batteries and is specifically optimized to work with Hobbywing QuicRun 2435 G2 and 2435 G3 brushless motors, delivering smooth throttle response and excellent drivability.

One of the biggest upgrades over the previous generation is the improved switch-mode BEC, now capable of supplying 6V or 7.4V at 2A continuous (4A peak). This allows the ESC to power modern high-voltage servos without requiring an external BEC, providing faster steering response and greater servo performance.

The ESC also features Intelligent Freewheeling technology, which improves drive efficiency, reduces operating temperatures, and enhances overall reliability during extended driving sessions. Compared to the previous 16BL30 ESC, the G2 version is also noticeably smaller, making installation easier in compact chassis while allowing cleaner wire routing.

Programming is quick and straightforward using the built-in SET button, Hobbywing LED Program Box, LCD PRO Program Box, or the OTA Programmer, allowing you to fine-tune throttle response, drag brake, braking force, low-voltage cutoff, and many other parameters to suit your driving style.

Factory-installed XT60 battery connectors and 3.5 mm gold-plated female motor connectors make installation fast and solder-free when paired with compatible Hobbywing motors.

Thanks to its compact dimensions and lightweight construction, the QuicRun WP 16BL30 G2 is an excellent upgrade for virtually any 1/16 or 1/18 scale buggy, truggy, monster truck, short course truck, or touring car. It has also become a popular upgrade among hobbyists for vehicles such as the Arrma Grom series, Traxxas 1/16 models, and other compact brushless conversions.
