The SkyRC BD250 is a professional battery discharger and analyzer designed for RC enthusiasts, racers and anyone who wants to accurately evaluate battery performance. Unlike most battery chargers that offer only 5–20W of discharge power, the BD250 can safely discharge batteries at up to 250W and 35A, dramatically reducing discharge times.

In addition to rapid discharging, the BD250 accurately measures battery capacity while displaying real-time voltage, discharge current and discharged capacity. It is an ideal tool for matching race batteries, checking battery health and bringing LiPo packs down to storage voltage quickly.

Battery Testing & Analysis

The SkyRC BD250 is much more than a battery discharger—it is a precision battery analysis tool. During the discharge process, it continuously displays battery voltage, discharge current and discharged capacity (mAh), allowing users to accurately compare battery performance and identify the strongest packs.

After the discharge cycle has finished, the BD250 continues monitoring battery voltage for the first six minutes. Batteries whose voltage recovers and drops more slowly after the load is removed are generally in better condition, making this feature particularly useful for selecting race packs.

When connected to a PC via USB, the supplied SkyRC software can record discharge data, generate voltage and capacity graphs, and export results for detailed battery analysis.
