Kas algajale vajalik setup-tools?
EI — algaja keskendub sõidu-tehnoloogiale, mitte mikroseadistustele. Setup-tools muutuvad oluliseks kui sõidad regulaarseid võistlusi.
Mis on camber?
Ratta vertikaalne kalle (kõverdumus). Positiivne camber (ülemine osa väljast) — agressiivne haakumine. Negatiivne (alumine osa väljast) — kurvi-pidamine. Tüüpiliselt -1 kuni -3°.
Ride-height — kuidas mõõdistada?
Auto kõrgus pinnast. Mõõdetakse jiga’ga (täpne plaat, mille all olevad ratta-mõõdid). Tüüpiline 1:10 buggy front: 22-25mm, rear: 25-28mm. Sõltub rajast.
Hudy vs MR33 setup-tools?
Hudy: klassikaline, suur tooteportfell. MR33: uuem, kvaliteet samaväärne, sageli odavam. Mõlemad on top-võistlustase. Eelistus on isikulik.
Mis on droop?
Suspension’i alumine raja — kui kaugele saab amord lasta tagasi laienedes. Droop-blocks võimaldavad lukutada droop’i kindlas asendis mõõdistuse jaoks.
