XB8 nitro: kõrgem võimsus, autentne mootori-müra, kõrgem hooldus. XB8E electric: vaiksem, lihtsam hooldus, kompaktsem chassis. Viimaste aastatega XB8E (electric) on populaarsem tänu lihtsamast hooldusest.

Tüüpiliselt LiPo 4S 5000-6500mAh, võistlustasandil shorty-akut. Aku-pesa on chassis-spetsiifilise mõõduga — kontrolli enne tellimist sobivust.

Ei — täiesti erinevad chassis-süsteemid. XB4 on 1:10, XB8 on 1:8. Mõni elektroonika (servod) võib sobida mõlemale, kuid chassis-osad EI.

Reglementaarselt vaja moodi vastavalt rajakonditsioonile ja kütusele. Pikk lean (lean = vähem kütust) annab kõrgema kiiruse, kuid kuumab. Rich (rohkem kütust) — jahedam, kuid aeglasem. Õpi mootori-spetsifikatsioonist.

EI — liiga suur ja võimas. 1:8 buggy on **välja-võistlustasanditel** (RC-klubid, päris-rada). Vajab vähemalt 30 m² ruumi.
