The Kyosho Mini-Z RWD Audi R8 LMS 2016 combines modern GT3 racing styling with Kyosho’s latest-generation MR-04 rear-wheel-drive chassis. As part of the Kyosho Mini-Z RWD range, this compact RC car offers precise on-road handling and genuine hobby-grade performance for indoor driving and Mini-Z racing.

Finished in a distinctive Gray/Red colour scheme, the highly detailed factory-finished Audi R8 LMS body captures the wide stance, low profile and aggressive aerodynamic design of Audi’s GT3 racing machine. Detailed bodywork and accurately reproduced proportions give the model an impressive appearance both on the track and on display.

Under the body is Kyosho’s MR-04W-MM rear-wheel-drive chassis with a 98 mm wheelbase. Compared with the previous MR-03 generation, the MR-04 positions the batteries lower in the chassis, reducing the centre of gravity and improving both cornering stability and straight-line handling.

Revised front knuckles reduce scrub by 1.5 mm on each side compared with the MR-03, producing sharper and more linear steering response. The front suspension dynamically adjusts camber throughout its movement to help maintain optimum tyre contact while cornering.

At the rear, a T-bar suspension system works together with a coil spring damper to absorb small surface irregularities and maintain stable handling. The standard rear damper can also be upgraded with optional Mini-Z performance parts.

A geared differential provides smooth cornering, while full ball bearings throughout the drivetrain help minimise rotational resistance. Power comes from a user-friendly 130-class brushed motor, delivering manageable hobby-grade performance for both newcomers and experienced Mini-Z drivers.

The chassis is compatible with the optional MZW711 gyro unit, which adds electronic steering assistance for improved stability. Gyro sensitivity can be adjusted directly on the chassis according to the track and driver’s preference.

The included Syncro KT-531P 2.4GHz transmitter features steering and throttle trim, steering dual rate and Training Mode. Training Mode reduces vehicle speed, making the Mini-Z easier to control while learning.

Please note that the Audi R8 LMS 2016 Gray/Red body is not compatible with the MZW429R LED light unit.

This Readyset includes the factory-assembled MR-04 chassis, fully finished Audi R8 LMS 2016 Gray/Red body and Syncro KT-531P transmitter. Simply add the required AAA batteries to start driving.
