The Kyosho Mini-Z RWD Audi R8 LMS 2015 combines authentic GT3 racing styling with Kyosho’s latest-generation MR-04 rear-wheel-drive chassis. As part of the Kyosho Mini-Z RWD range, this compact RC car offers precise on-road handling and genuine hobby-grade performance for indoor driving and Mini-Z racing.

Finished in White, the highly detailed factory-finished body recreates the Audi R8 LMS developed by Audi’s motorsport division to meet FIA GT3 regulations. The real R8 LMS proved its capabilities immediately, achieving overall victory at the Nürburgring 24 Hours during its 2015 debut season.

Under the body is Kyosho’s MR-04W-MM rear-wheel-drive chassis with a 98 mm wheelbase. Compared with the previous MR-03 generation, the MR-04 positions the batteries lower in the chassis, reducing the centre of gravity and improving stability through corners and during high-speed driving.

Revised front knuckles reduce scrub by 1.5 mm on each side compared with the MR-03, providing sharper and more linear steering response. Suspension Parts 2.0 optimise caster geometry to balance quick turn-in with stability, while the front suspension dynamically adjusts camber throughout its movement.

At the rear, a T-bar suspension system works together with a coil spring damper to absorb small surface irregularities and maintain stable handling. The standard damper can also be upgraded with optional oil-filled Mini-Z components.

A geared differential provides smooth cornering, while full ball bearings throughout the drivetrain minimise rotational resistance. Power comes from a user-friendly 130-class brushed motor, delivering manageable performance for both newcomers and experienced Mini-Z racers.

The chassis is compatible with the optional MZW711 gyro unit, which adds electronic steering assistance for increased stability. Gyro sensitivity can be adjusted directly on the chassis according to the track and driver’s preference.

The included Syncro KT-531P 2.4GHz transmitter features steering and throttle trim, steering dual rate and Training Mode. Training Mode reduces vehicle speed, making the Mini-Z easier to control while learning.

The Audi R8 LMS body is also compatible with the optional MZW429R LED light unit, allowing functional lighting to be added for even greater scale realism.

This Readyset includes the factory-assembled MR-04 chassis, fully painted and marked Audi R8 LMS 2015 White body and Syncro KT-531P transmitter. Simply add the required AAA batteries to start driving.
