The Kyosho Mini-Z RWD Audi R8 LMS Phoenix Racing NBR 2010 #98 combines authentic GT racing styling with Kyosho’s latest-generation MR-04 rear-wheel-drive chassis. As part of the Kyosho Mini-Z RWD range, this compact RC car is designed for precise on-road handling and exciting indoor Mini-Z racing.

The factory-finished body recreates Team Phoenix Racing’s Audi R8 LMS No.98 from the 2010 Nürburgring 24 Hours. Its distinctive blue and yellow Bilstein racing livery, wide GT bodywork and large rear wing give the model an unmistakable competition appearance that looks impressive both on the track and on display.

Under the body is Kyosho’s MR-04W-MM rear-wheel-drive chassis with a 98 mm wheelbase. Compared with the previous MR-03 generation, the MR-04 positions the batteries lower in the chassis to reduce the centre of gravity, improving cornering stability and straight-line handling.

Revised front knuckles and steering geometry provide sharper and more linear steering response. The front suspension dynamically adjusts camber throughout its movement to help maintain optimum tyre contact during cornering, while the rear uses a T-bar suspension together with a coil spring damper.

A geared differential provides smooth cornering, while ball bearings throughout the drivetrain help minimise rotational resistance. Power comes from a user-friendly 130-class brushed motor, delivering manageable hobby-grade performance for both newcomers and experienced Mini-Z drivers.

The chassis is compatible with the optional MZW711 gyro unit, which adds electronic steering assistance for increased stability. Gyro sensitivity can be adjusted directly on the chassis to suit the track and driver’s preference.

The included Syncro KT-531P 2.4GHz transmitter features steering and throttle trim, steering dual rate and Training Mode. Training Mode reduces vehicle speed, making the Mini-Z easier to control while learning.

Please note that the Audi R8 LMS Phoenix Racing NBR 2010 #98 body is not compatible with the MZW429R LED light unit.

This Readyset includes the factory-assembled chassis, fully painted and marked Audi R8 LMS Phoenix Racing body and Syncro KT-531P transmitter. Simply add the required AAA batteries to start driving.
