Kyosho Mini-Z RWD MR-04 Sauber Mercedes C9 No.62 AEG LM 1988 Readyset – 32362AG

The body recreates the Sauber Mercedes C9 No.62 prepared for the 1988 24 Hours of Le Mans. Its striking black AEG-sponsored livery features the famous circuit-board-inspired graphics that make this particular C9 instantly recognisable. The No.62 car was entered for Le Mans in 1988, although the Sauber-Mercedes team withdrew its cars before the race because of tyre safety concerns.

Under the body is Kyosho’s MR-04W-LM rear-wheel-drive chassis with a long 102 mm wheelbase. Compared with the previous MR-03 generation, the MR-04 places the batteries lower in the chassis and features revised steering geometry and updated front suspension for improved stability, steering response and cornering performance.

The front suspension dynamically adjusts camber through its movement to help maintain tyre contact while cornering. At the rear, a T-bar suspension system and coil spring damper support stable handling and can be upgraded further with Mini-Z optional racing parts.

A geared differential provides smooth cornering, while ball bearings are fitted throughout the drivetrain to minimise rotational resistance. Power comes from a user-friendly 130-class brushed motor, providing accessible hobby-grade performance for both newer drivers and experienced Mini-Z racers.

The chassis is compatible with the optional MZW711 gyro unit, which can provide additional electronic steering assistance. Gyro sensitivity can be adjusted directly on the chassis to suit the track and driver’s preference.

The included Syncro KT-531P 2.4GHz transmitter features steering and throttle trim, steering dual rate and Training Mode. Training Mode reduces vehicle speed, making the car easier to control while learning.

Please note that the Sauber Mercedes C9 body is not compatible with the MZW429R LED light unit.

This Readyset includes the factory-assembled chassis, fully painted and marked Sauber Mercedes C9 No.62 body and Syncro KT-531P transmitter. Simply add the required AAA batteries to start driving.
