The Kyosho Mini-Z RWD Jaguar XJR-14 No.4 LM 1991 combines the radical aerodynamics of one of the most distinctive sports prototypes of the early 1990s with Kyosho’s latest-generation MR-04 rear-wheel-drive chassis. As part of the Kyosho Mini-Z RWD range, this compact RC car is designed for precise on-road handling and exciting indoor Mini-Z racing.

The highly detailed factory-finished body recreates the Jaguar XJR-14 No.4 that appeared at the 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans. The XJR-14 broke away from traditional Group C design with an extremely aerodynamic shape and was often compared to a Formula racing car enclosed by bodywork. The No.4 car demonstrated its potential at Le Mans by qualifying second against more powerful competitors.

Under the body is Kyosho’s MR-04W-LM rear-wheel-drive chassis with a long 102 mm wheelbase. Compared with the previous MR-03 generation, the MR-04 places the batteries lower in the chassis to reduce the centre of gravity and improve cornering stability. Revised steering geometry and updated front suspension provide sharper and more linear steering response.

The front suspension dynamically adjusts camber as it moves, helping maintain optimum tyre contact through corners. At the rear, a T-bar suspension system works together with a coil spring damper to absorb small surface irregularities and maintain stable handling.

A geared differential provides smooth cornering, while ball bearings throughout the drivetrain help reduce rotational resistance. Power comes from a user-friendly 130-class brushed motor, providing accessible hobby-grade performance for both newcomers and experienced Mini-Z drivers.

The chassis is compatible with the optional MZW711 gyro unit, which can add electronic steering assistance for greater stability. Gyro sensitivity can be adjusted directly on the chassis to suit the track and driver’s preference.

The included Syncro KT-531P 2.4GHz transmitter features steering and throttle trim, steering dual rate and Training Mode. Training Mode reduces vehicle speed, making the Mini-Z easier to control while learning.

Please note that the Jaguar XJR-14 No.4 body is not compatible with the MZW429R LED light unit.

This model is supplied as a Readyset with the factory-assembled chassis, fully painted and marked Jaguar XJR-14 No.4 body and Syncro KT-531P transmitter. Simply add the required AAA batteries to start driving.
