      Which RC connector should I use?

      Match it to your battery and ESC, such as XT60, XT90, EC5 or Deans. Keeping one connector type across your packs makes life simpler.

      What wire gauge do I need?

      Higher current needs thicker wire (lower AWG number). Match the gauge to your motor and ESC so the wiring does not overheat.

      What is heat shrink for?

      It insulates and tidies soldered joints. Slide it over the wire, solder the joint, then shrink it with heat for a clean, safe finish.
