The clutch connects the spinning engine to the drivetrain as revs rise. It lets the engine idle without driving the wheels, then engages as you accelerate.

Nitro clutch parts control how power gets from the engine to the drivetrain. This category covers clutch shoes, springs, flywheels and clutch bells, so you can tune engagement and replace worn parts. Softer springs engage sooner, firmer springs hold power for a stronger hit.Match the parts to your engine and driving style. See the rest of the range in nitro accessories.
Softer springs engage the clutch at lower revs for smoother, easier driving. Firmer springs engage later for a stronger, more aggressive hit of power.
Replace them when they are worn thin, glazed or slipping. Worn shoes waste power and can damage the clutch bell.
Change spring rate and shoe type to suit the track. Earlier engagement helps on low grip, later engagement suits high-grip, high-speed tracks.
