One that matches your transmitter’s brand and protocol. A spare receiver also lets you run several cars from one transmitter.
Can I use a receiver from another brand?
Only if the protocols are compatible. Most brands need their own receivers, so check compatibility before buying.
How many channels should the receiver have?
At least as many as you use: two for basic cars, more for lights or extra functions. Extra channels do no harm.
