A kit is an unassembled car you build yourself. It teaches you how the car works and lets you tune it, but takes time and some tools.

Most kits need electronics (motor, ESC, servo, radio and receiver) plus a battery and charger. Check the kit’s list of what is required.

Simple hobby kits are a rewarding first build. Competition chassis kits are more advanced, so start simple if you are new to building.
