The tire and usually the insert are mounted and glued to the rim, so the wheel is ready to bolt on and race.

They save the time and mess of gluing, and let you carry several fresh sets to a race for changing conditions.

1/8 buggies use a standard 17 mm hex, but check your car and the wheel spec to be sure before ordering.
