Description

The Tamiya RS-540 Torque-Tuned Motor is a popular 540-size brushed motor designed to provide higher torque, stronger acceleration, and improved overall performance compared to a standard 540 motor. Its versatile characteristics make it an excellent upgrade for touring cars, buggies, monster trucks, and other 1/10 scale RC models.

Operating on 6.6–7.2V, the motor reaches approximately 16,000 RPM under the recommended load while delivering strong torque for improved acceleration and drivability across a variety of surfaces. It is particularly well suited to vehicles with larger tires, where additional low-end pulling power is beneficial.
