Team Associated ST550 Super Touring – Apex2 Sport – 1:10 4WD RTR – 30127

The Apex2 Sport chassis features independent front and rear suspension with coil-over shocks. It also uses Team Associated’s Active Rear Toe system, which changes the rear toe angle as the suspension moves, helping improve rear-end stability and traction during driving.

The full-time 4WD drivetrain gives the ST550 predictable handling and strong traction under acceleration and through corners. Steel dogbone driveshafts and drive axles, enclosed front and rear gear differentials and an aluminum motor plate provide a durable drivetrain suitable for regular hobby use.

The model comes factory assembled with a 550-size brushed motor, electronic speed controller, steering servo, receiver and 2.4 GHz radio system already installed. As a true RTR model, only a suitable drive battery, charger and AA batteries for the transmitter are required before driving.

One of the practical advantages of the ST550 is its adjustable battery mounting system. The Apex2 Sport chassis can be configured for both Shorty and standard-size battery packs, giving you more freedom when choosing the battery capacity and format.

To make the Team Associated ST550 as easy as possible to get started with, we recommend the Absima 4000mAh 7.4V 2S Hardcase LiPo Battery with T-Plug. Its standard-size hardcase format provides a useful 4000 mAh capacity for good driving time, while the T-Plug connects directly to the model’s ESC without the need for an additional adapter.

For charging, we recommend the simple Absima 2S LiPo Charger – 4000034. Charging is carried out through the battery’s balance connector, making it a straightforward solution for users who want an easy charging setup without the complexity of a programmable charger.
