The Traxxas Spartan performs best with two matching LiPo batteries. For longer runtime, we recommend the Traxxas 7600mAh 2S LiPo (2869X) or 5800mAh 2S LiPo (2843X) batteries. For maximum speed and performance, a pair of Traxxas 5000mAh 3S LiPo batteries is the preferred setup. Always use identical batteries and a compatible LiPo charger for safe operation and maximum performance.
