How do I choose the right RC tires?
Match the tread to your surface (offroad, on-road, carpet or rock) and the size to your car. Compound then fine-tunes grip and wear for the conditions.
What is the difference between tires and wheels?
Tires are the rubber that grips the ground, wheels (or rims) are what they mount on. Pre-glued wheels come with the tire already mounted and ready to run.
Do RC tires need inserts?
Most performance tires use foam inserts inside to support the tire and set its firmness. The insert affects grip and how the tire holds its shape.
How do I keep tires on the rims?
Glue them with a tire glue, or buy pre-glued wheels. A properly glued tire will not come off the rim under hard cornering.
