However, there are some important aspects to consider when using a LiPo battery. Since a LiPo battery can provide more power than NiMH, the motor and electronics can heat up more. Therefore, it is recommended to monitor the motor temperature and, if necessary, use a longer gear (larger gear) to reduce the load and keep the system reliable.

It should also be noted that the standard XL-5 speed controller supports up to 2S LiPo batteries, but using a battery with a higher voltage (e.g. 3S) can cause the electronics to overload or even malfunction.
